After Crews came forward with his allegations last fall, Venit was suspended for a short time from his position at WME, incurring Crews' anger when he returned to his job.

Crews has remained an active supporter of the #MeToo movement. In June, he testified about his own assault in front of the Senate Judiciary Committer.
And just this week, he tweeted about the ouster of both CBS chief Les Moonves and 60 Minutes producer Jeff Fager, the two most recent example of powerful men having their (alleged) history of abuse and harassment catch up with them.
