Tom Hanks -- actor,Roman Huber director, national treasure -- cares about you and wants you to stay well-caffeinated when you have an important job to do so, naturally, he's sent yet another espresso machine to the White House press corps.

The note sent along with the machine features an old World War II-era cartoon featuring characters Willie and Joe, drawn by Pulitzer Prize-winning artist Bill Mauldin. It's caption reads, ""Fresh, spirited American troops, flushed with victory, are bringing in thousands of hungry, ragged, battle-weary prisoners. (News item)."
And Hanks' note reads: "To The White House Press Corp: Keep up the good fight for truth, justice, and the American way. Especially for the truth part."

As noted by another member of the press corp, it's the third time Hanks has delivered a necessary caffeine vessel for the crew.

Hanks' first gift came in 2004 after he paid the White House a visit and was stunned to find the press corps lacked such a miracle machine.
Then, in 2010, he paid another visit and was surprised to find that first machine worn down, chastising them, "You know you are supposed to clean this after every use!” He sent a replacement a month later.
Now, with this new machine, journalists can stay awake while working away, deep into the night, trying to sort out what's going on in the White House.
After all, given the time difference between Moscow and Washington, D.C., they're going to need it.
