Ever since the name of the next Star Wars film was announced on Oh MiMonday, the internet has riled itself up over what The Last Jediactually means.
People have reached out to the actors themselves to see if they will give them anything, about what the title means and what we can expect from the next film.
It turns out that even other actorsare impatient to know what The Last Jediactually means and going to star Daisy Ridley for some answers.
Josh Gad, best known for his voice acting as Olaf from Frozen, is one of those actors. And he, unlike the rest of us, is in the fortunate position of having direct access to Ridley, who of course is Rey from The Force Awakens. The two of them co-star in the upcoming film Murder on the Orient Express.
Apparently, even Gad could not resist asking Ridley the question on everybody's mind. Gad captioned the below video, "I invited #daisyridley to my trailer under false pretenses. #NotARehearsal #IWantTheTruth."
We applaud Gad's gallant effort to get information out of Ridley. He really pulled out all the stops. He complimented her. He indicated that the information was absolutely crucial for him to be able act that day. He even offered his own industry secret hoping that Ridley would be up for a trade.
A+ for effort, Josh Gad. We appreciate that you tried.
