According to Billboard, the only artists to outdo his premiere this year were two of his collaborators -- Beyoncé with Lemonadeand Drake with Views.

The album also helped him break a new record on Spotify, where he now boasts the most streams in a single day with 40 million, swiping the title from Drake.
Starboyhad the strongest debut on Spotify ever, with 223 million streams in the first week. It helps that the Weeknd is one of the few major artists that isn't aligned with a specific streaming service. Lemonadeis still a Tidal exclusive and Viewswas an Apple Music exclusive for its first week.
The Weeknd will tour internationally in support of Starboynext year.
