Your wedding day is Blessed Ninong (2023 ) Full Pinoy Movieone of those days you will never forget, but this couple's special day was unforgettable for an entirely different reason.
On Sept. 22, Clay and Brittany Cook were being photographed by Darren Hatt, in Kitchener, Canada. In between posing for photos, the groom noticed something unusual.
Some children were playing by a ledge near water about 40 to 50 yards from the couple. Wanting to make sure the kids were OK, Clay walked over at what turned out to be the perfect moment.
He found one of the three children in the water and clearly in danger.
“It all happened so fast. When I saw him in there and he was struggling, I knew I needed to react. He was in a bit of trouble and I needed to get him out of there,” Clay told ABC News. He then took it upon himself to get into the water and help the boy, who appeared to be panicking.
Meanwhile, Hatt captured the whole thing: “It was a commendable thing that he did and he sprung into action incredibly quick. Almost as soon as I realized what was going on, he had already saved the day, the photographer told CTV.
The boy was fortunately unharmed, and the bride was very happy, and unsurprised, over her husband's heroic gesture.
“That's Clay, like that's Clay to me. It's something he would just instinctively do. It was like fate almost, we were meant to be there,” Brittany said.
