SAVE $200: Looking for an M2 MacBook Air deal?Watch Pinku katto: Futoku aishite fukaku aishite OnlineAs of Sept. 11, you can grab the 2022 M2 MacBook Air with 256GB of built-in storage for just $899, down from $1,099, with the 18% discount bringing it back down to its lowest price ever. You can also grab the 512GB model for $200 off, at just $1,199 instead of its $1,399 MSRP.
Just a couple of weeks ago, our favorite MacBook dropped to its lowest price ever, and we were thrilled to see it at a sub-$1,000 price.
Though the M2 MacBook Air deal didn't last for long, it thankfully wasn't gone for long, as the 256GB model is once again just $899 at Best Buy as of Sept. 11. This $200 price drop of its usual $1,099 also applies to the 512GB M2 MacBook Air, which is on sale for $1,199 instead of $1,399, also at Best Buy. At the time of writing, both configurations of the laptop were sold out at Amazon.
SEE ALSO: Find out your iPhone's trade-in value ahead of the big Apple eventThis deal comes just one day ahead of the fall iPhone event. Apple released the M2 Air in the summer of 2022, but we're not expecting any updates to the brand's laptop lineup at tomorrow's event, so this is still likely the best price you'll be able to grab it at for at least the next month.
As for how the laptop actually performs — well, there's a reason it's our favorite MacBook. The M2 processor will power you through everyday tasks with ease and then some, and it can even tackle more intensive tasks like video and audio editing (though it might not be the optimal choice for those as compared to more spec-heavy MacBooks). The all-day battery life and 13.6-inch display make it an excellent work-from-home companion.
Basically, as Mashable Tech Reporter Alex Perry writes in his review of the laptop, "If you’ve been waiting four or five years to upgrade your MacBook Air, go ahead and do it now." Grab it at Best Buy before this deal is gone again.
