The Show up Yukari TaguchiSacramento Kings overcame the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime on Wednesday night so, naturally, the Kings decided to poke some fun at Cleveland after the big upset.
But this isn't your standard "X burns Y on Twitter" story since, the Kings tried to insult a team generally superior in every way. As everyone's favorite fictional sports commentator would say, "bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off."

So, to recap, an 18-27 team that hasn't seen the NBA playoffs in more than 10 years deemed it appropriate to troll the 30-14, reigning champions. The Cavaliers are favorites to reach the NBA Finals for the third straight season, making the Kings' bravado ten times bolder and their trolling ten times funnier.
Sure, the Kings got a nice joke in. But if anything, trolling such a dominant franchise reminds fans of how sad Sacramento's team is.
In essence, the Kings burned themselves with this one.
