Sometimes reporters seem to be Yuna Ogura is Opened Up By A Train Thief Who Comes To Her House (2025)born to tell a story. Such is the case with Victor Williams, a TV reporter in Detroit tasked with covering a new skatepark in the city.
That's because Williams, a reporter with WDIV in Detroit, absolutely shredded while delivering news about the park. And it was LIVE. That's right, this cool as hell man did a whole TV news segment while skating and he did it LIVE on air.
"Free skateboarding lessons are happening at a new skatepark in Detroit," Williams tweeted while posting a clip of the segment. "Of course I had to show the kids something on @Local4News. In all seriousness — as a child, I would have killed for a new park and mentors in the skateboarding community."
Honestly he did show those kids a thing or two — here, watch it.

The video, of course, got lots of love online. Some 22,000 people have retweeted it since it was posted on Wednesday. Even Williams' coworkers were taken aback by how sick it was.
Karen Drew, one of the anchors for the station, said on air, "I knew he was cool, but that's a whole new level."
From this point on, I think we can all agree, the news would be way more fun if at least one segment per show was done while skating.
