This summer was Brat summer. We're approaching demure fall,Singapore which may transition into a season with longer staying power than the "demure" and "mindful" trend holds.
One trend that appears to have miraculously enduring appeal is Barbie Summer a label for June and July 2023 that has somehow maintained relevance well into 2024. So much so that HMD just dropped a Barbie-branded flip phone. According to The Verge, the phone was preannounced earlier this year at Mobile World Congress and will go on sale in October for $129.
As with all flip phones, the screen is just 2.8 inches and you'll be typing out in T9. There are "no distracting apps," encouraging users to "disconnect to reconnect," according to HMD's website. But there isa five-megapixel camera with built-in flash which will give your pics that early digital camera look.

"Nothing beats spending real time together," the website reads. "That’s what the HMD Barbie Phone is all about!"
The phone comes with Barbie covers, stickers, crystals, a beaded lanyard with barbie charms, and more to personalize your flip phone experience.
"This flip phone is chic, sleek and pink – and that’s just on the outside," according to the website. "Open it up and everything on the screen feels like it’s straight out of The Barbie DreamHouse."
It’s available for preorder on September 23 on the HMD website.
