All signs point towards a Google Pixel 3 XL with a notch, book eroticism & art mahon, alyce but the latest leak shows us the box.
Thanks to a blogger from the Ukraine on Telegram, we now have photos of a pre-release Pixel 3 XL in packaging — andwired USB-C Pixel Buds. Android Police was the first to spot the posting. While these aren't the first leaked photos of the device, they're the first to feature the device running Android and in its packaging.
SEE ALSO: Google may have just accidentally leaked the Pixel 3 release datePixel customers might finally get headphones in the box. The packaging shows a pair of wired Pixel Buds with a USB-C connector. These would be the first wired version of Google's wireless Pixel Buds that launched alongside the Pixel 2. From the photos, it appears that the wired variants will wrap inside the ear canal to keep them in place.
We also get another view of the notch, and it's a big one. However, we now see how Android will be handling it in native Android 9.0 software. The status bar is split in two, with notifications from apps on one side and system information on the other. Keep in mind this is likely pre-production software, so this could change.
Via the device menu, we see that the Pixel 3 XL has an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 3.46GB(?) of RAM. It has a separate Adreno 630 graphics processing unit. We don't know the exact screen size as of yet, but resolution is listed as 1,440 x 2,960 with 494 pixels per inch. It also adopts a taller aspect ratio in a design that echoes the iPhone X.
Google isn't changing much about the design on the back of the phone. You will still find the main camera and LED flash on the top left-hand side with a fingerprint sensor on the back. This appears to be a "clearly white" color variant, and from these images, the two-tone back switches between a smooth and glossy finish. There is a mint green power button on this Pixel 3 XL as well, which differs from the orange button on the two-tone Pixel 2 XL.
The notch contains what appears to be some sensors, a front-facing camera, and an earpiece. The Pixel design team is keeping a chin on the bottom which means the dual speakers are still here.
For now, all that's left to do is wait; an expected Oct. 4 launch date leaked earlier this week. This wasn't the first Pixel phone leak, and it likely won't be the last.
