Facebook Events is forced gay sex videosa great way for the social network to actually help you manage your social life. But sometimes we forget to keep tabs on the events we'll "maybe" attend, and sometimes we have trouble finding events we're interested in all together.
Facebook has decided to address this issue so we never have FOMO again. The social network just launched Events from Facebook, a standalone app to help you navigate Facebook events more seamlessly.
SEE ALSO: Passive aggressively ask friends to pay you back with Facebook's new featureFor those who still have bad dreams about the day Facebook required them to download Messenger, don't worry. Facebook isn't requiring users of the service's Events feature to download the Events app (at least not yet). Like Facebook Groups, it's for users -- probably power users -- who prefer to manage Events in a dedicated app.
Once you open the app, "You can quickly catch up on new events your friends are interested in, recently announced events by the Pages you like, and updates from events you're already connected to," according to Facebook. You can also search for events you may be interested in based on time and location.
While much of this is functionality you can get from the Events section of the main Facebook app or website, the Events app also features an interactive map so you can easily browse through events you may be interested in when you're traveling.
The app also helps you keep better track of the events you've responded to by adding them to an in-app calendar that you can sync with your other calendar apps. Everything you do on the app will also automatically be visible on Facebook, whether or not they have the app, as the network wants your friends to be able to see all the events you're interested in or attending.
The app is now available on Apple's App Store and will be coming to Android "soon."
