Donald Trump confirmed his ongoing bromance with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady last week,Squirting Pussy while Brady has generally played the coy card when recently discussing the nation's 45th president.
That changed Monday, when the two-time NFL MVP appeared on a Boston radio show and opened up on the nature of his relationship with Trump.

"Sometimes he calls me. Sometimes I call," Brady said, per CSN NE, a day after punching his ticket to Super Bowl 51. "But, again, that's been someone I've known. I always try to keep it in context because for 16 years you know someone before maybe he was in the position that he was in. He's been very supportive of me for a long time. It's just a friendship. I have a lot of friends. I call a lot of people."
Their friendship goes back a long way, with Brady judging one of Trump's beauty pageants in 2002 to Trump's vehement support for Brady during the "Deflategate" scandal.
A "Make America Great Again" cap in Brady's locker confirmed his political endorsement for Trump last year. Though, considering Trump's comments and scandals, the media-savvy Brady has wisely avoided diving too deep into Trump advocacy.
"I'm a pretty positive person, so I don't want to create any distractions for our team and so forth," he said. "I just try and stay positive and actually this world could use a little more positivity."
Maybe Brady's big win over Pittsburgh on Sunday — along with a chance to win his fifth Super Bowl ring next month — gave him the confidence to open up about Trump. Either way, we know who Brady favored in the election, and we know who Trump will be rooting for at the Super Bowl.
