Moving to space sounds more and This Isn't The Twilight Saga: New Moon: The XXX Parodymore tempting these days, but the closest we're getting for a while is Netflix's Space Force, which premieres in May. On Wednesday, Netflix revealed the first photos of star Steve Carell as general Mark R. Naird, an air force pilot who ends up in command of the new military branch.
Netflix also revealed that Friendsstar Lisa Kudrow will join the cast as Mark's wife Maggie, Carell's second time this year appearing on screen with a Friendsstar (no complaints here). The cast includes John Malkovich, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, and more.

It stemmed in part from Donald Trump's 2018 comments about establishing an independent Space Force, which he went on to do in 2019.
